Finely Chopped Broccoli Salad

We are blessed to live near a Mennonite store that sells homemade products, produce, baked goods, bulk goods, and especially Broccoli Salad among a lot of other items. My husband loves the fact that this little store is close enough to his workplace that he can easily pick up lunches there. They also have fresh subs, salads, pickled eggs, deli meats and soo much more. His favorite to pick up for lunch is their Broccoli Salad. While my son and I aren't normally a big fan of broccoli, we do like their Broccoli Salad. It's just that we would like it more if it didn't have any cauliflower in it. So I decided to create this recipe to suit my family's taste.

The great thing about this Broccoli Salad Recipe is it's versatility; You can easily substitute, omit, or add almost any vegetable and even some fruits. So feel free to add the head of cauliflower that I omitted. I also changed the tanginess to suit my family. If you like a tangier salad, just add more apple cider vinegar. On the flip side, just add more sugar to make it more sweet and less tangy! You can easily adjust this recipe to suit your own taste and vegetable preferences!

Finally, the difference in my Broccoli Salad versus others out there on the internet... My family prefers to have our vegetables very finely chopped. Again, the wonderful thing with this recipe is that you can chop your vegetables to whatever size you prefer. If you like chucky vegetables, go big! I recommend trying finely chopped vegetables first, but again, feel free to adjust this recipe as you see fit. If you do, please comment below with any changes you've made or even pictures. I would love to hear and see what you've made!
